JTHS BAA MEETING MINUTES
FOR MARCH 10, 2010

A short meeting was held March
10. The January minutes were
reviewed with the correction of
dates. The minutes were then
accepted as corrected by Brad
and motion seconded by Art. The
Treasurer's report was read and
accepted by Mary Beth and
seconded by Gene. Checks were
made out to Gene DiVecchio for
$25.00 for our Webpage. Another
check was dispensed to Art Perez
for pizza cost.
Previous business was discussed
regarding the Basketball game.
All felt it was a success.
Approximately 18-20 Alumni
attended along with approx. 60
high school pep band members. JT
defeated Carl Sandburg HS. It
was recommended to introduce
members who are on the Board
when introducing alumni. Pizza
and soda was enjoyed by all.
25 pizzas were ordered ($5 each)
5 -12 packs of soda pop were
donated along with candy and
decorations. The Band Parents
provided 3 cakes, enjoyed by
all.
New Business:
The June 2010
Annual Picnic will be held
Saturday, June 5th 2010 at the
pavilion on Houbolt Road. A
$50.00 deposit will be placed
for rental. The Board
unanimously voted to have the
picnic at the new location.
Art Perez recommended the
Alumni have a business type card
available to all of us to hand
out to people that we may
encounter on a social basis.
The Board thought this was an
excellent idea and will work on
a simple design listing our web
site, address and Google phone
number
New Business to consider is July
29th 2012 for the 100th
Celebration. Logo design and a
recommendation of a gift card as
an incentive prize. Submissions
to be accepted up to May 31st.
2010 for the Board to review.
And as always, More New
Addresses !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There will be a working session
in April.
